The US environmental protection bureau said that the experiment which participation together by the environmental protection bureau and the magnesium industry indicated that, in four years, the occurrence of new technical breakthrough will replace sulfur hexafluoride in the magnesium production and the smelting process application, the sulfur hexafluoride took as the controlled atmospherical will become the history in magnesium industry application.
  This work is in the charge of work team by the US environmental protection bureau and magnesium industry sulfur hexafluoride. The members of this team are from Australian, Canadian, Japanese and US company and research institute related personnel, and the main work is to study the new environmental protection smelting preservation technology and craft.
  If magnesium industry eliminate the sulfur hexafluoride, it will be equal to reduces 3 million tons carbon dioxide (500,000 vehicles every year withdrawal).
